14 Days at Sea & Counting!
I am a proud Norwegian Cruise Line fan with two distinct voyages under my belt. I first fell in love with NCL's freestyle style in 2022 while cruising the icy waters of Alaska in a mini-suite on the Norwegian Encore. I kept the momentum going by hopping aboard the Norwegian Jade in 2026!
100+ days at sea. I first fell in love with Carnival's high-energy fun style in 2004 while cruising aboard the classic Carnival Ecstasy. I kept the momentum going over the decades, spanning from fleet favorites like the Elation, Splendor, Spirit, Paradise, Inspiration, Miracle, and Triumph to my most recent adventures on the Firenze, Radiance. I even experienced the ultimate cruiser's dream a B2B2B cruise on the Glory! While I love the whole fleet, I definitely have two absolute standouts: the Carnival Mardi Gras holds my crown as my favorite East Coast ship, and the Carnival Panorama as my ultimate West Coast favorite!
This October I will be embarking on my first SEA (Adults only) sailing!!
I have officially expanded my cruise horizons! As of August 2026, I have take my very first step into the world of European-style cruising by hopping aboard the stunning MSC Seashore on a b2b cruise, 7 days total. Known for its glamorous, crystal-filled design and incredible outdoor promenade spaces, this voyage was a fantastic way to see MSC's privaate island Ocean Cay.
I haven’t officially stepped foot on a Virgin Voyages lady ship yet, but it is high on my radar. I am absolutely itching to experience their adults-only, boutique-hotel-at-sea vibe. From the zero-buffets, all-inclusive specialty dining to the incredible, unconventional entertainment and gorgeous hammock-lined balconies, I know I’m going to fall in love with their modern twist on cruising. Stay tuned, because making this bucket list dream a reality is a top priority!
If there is one piece of advice I give every single traveler, it’s this: never leave home without protecting your investment. From unexpected medical emergencies to flight delays and lost luggage, life happens.
While single-trip plans are great, I personally highly recommend a yearly annual policy. If you take two or more trips a year (even short domestic getaways!), an annual policy is a game-changer. It gives you 365 days of continuous peace of mind, saves you money compared to buying separate plans, and ensures you're always covered the second you walk out the door.
Royal Caribbean holds a truly special place in my travel history because they hosted my very first cruise out of the USA! Taking their signature innovation, massive ships, and incredible energy and pairing it with international waters was an absolute game-changer. It completely opened my eyes to how seamless and spectacular cruising can be when you use it to explore the rest of the world.
In August 2026, I am finally trading land for paradise and taking my very first steps aboard the Margaritaville at Sea Islander! I am ready to dive headfirst into that famous, laid-back island vibe and experience everything this brand-new addition to the fleet has to offer. From the tropical eats to the 5 o'clock somewhere mindset, I can't wait to see how they bring the ultimate island escape to the high seas. Fins up—August can’t come soon enough!
